hey there! I'm Rachel
I am a Washington and Colorado based portrait photographer who specializes in senior portraits as well as couples sessions, family photos and more! I am always open to hearing what creative ideas you have for your session and I am so excited to keep growing my business! Meeting new people and fulfilling their wishes is what I strive to do, no matter the circumstances.
Colorado has always been my home and adventuring into the mountains and open fields of grass is something I love to do with my clients! Getting to bring those special moments that I capture to life is such an amazing thing. As of September 2021, I now live in the luscious, green state of Washington, where I attend Seattle University! I am majoring in Communications with an emphasis in journalism, and I intend to keep capturing beautiful moments through my camera lens. It is still so surreal to me that I get to live in such a beautiful state, I can't wait to start exploring and meeting cool people!
I love to do all things creative
I recently went to a Harry Styles concert in Denver (HUGE FAN HELLO), and it was like I was at a fashion show, literally so fun! Everyone looked awesome and I am really glad that I decided to dress up and be a part of the experience. I think creative self expression is so fun to do in any possible way, and I have been doing so with clothing recently! I also LOVE music (going to concerts is probably my favorite thing ever) and I played the violin for 8 years. I want to learn to play a bunch of other instruments and try other creative outlets as well! Photography is definitely my favorite form of creativity because so much goes into making pictures come to life, but I especially love editing and filtering!

My passion to create fuels my drive to deliver. I make it my goal to have satisfied clients who I can consider friends. Building a connection with you is what makes taking pictures fun! Being able to walk away from a session knowing that you were comfortable with me and know that your true self shined through is the biggest accomplishment.

One of my favorite types of sessions to do are senior portraits because as someone who just graduated, I know what you are going through. Being on the road to graduation, preparing for college, experiencing the last moments as a high school student, are all things that I have recently experienced and I am here for you if you ever need someone to talk to! I know how busy and overwhelming it is being a senior and then having to book a photographer on top of everything else. With me, I am open to shooting when YOU are free and I will tailor to what you want your session to look like. It is so important to find someone that you can connect with and feel confident with while taking pictures and I will be there to help you pose and have a great time!
